Hey Viktor!
Entertainment marketing and character gallery photography for feature film releases require a dynamic, high-concept approach. Specifically, I was commissioned for a dedicated studio gallery shoot for the critically acclaimed Canadian comedy film Hey, Viktor!, directed by and starring Cody Lightning.
Working in collaboration with Tylite Digital, Level Film, and Route 504 PR, the studio session involved capturing a wide array of character looks from our shot list. Furthermore, these promotional stills played a dual role in the film’s rollout. Consequently, the assets powered the digital advertising campaign and were officially featured in the final movie poster designed by Chargefield. Entertainment & Promotional Gallery Photography Scope:
Executing a multi-platform character gallery shoot for an independent feature film demands rapid lighting adjustments and precise creative direction. Therefore, my production scope for this project included:
- Studio Look Development: Collaborating closely with production partners to capture diverse character expressions and lighting setups straight from the shot list.
- Digital Ad Campaign Assets: Delivering high-resolution portraits and action stills engineered specifically for targeted digital marketing and social media rollouts.
- Official Movie Poster Stills: Providing primary source imagery selected directly for the official theatrical release poster designed by Chargefield.
- PR & Distributor Delivery: Supplying Level Film and Route 504 PR with a polished media archive for press kits, junkets, and festival promotion.
