Pricing & Booking

What is your pricing structure for corporate events, industrial projects, and headshots?

Every project is unique, so pricing is custom-tailored based on the scope, deliverables, and specific needs of the assignment. Short-term and long-term retainers are available with preferential rates for ongoing corporate partnerships. Get in touch to discuss your project details and get a transparent estimate.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally, the sooner the better. Availability fluctuates, and while some clients secure major corporate events up to a year in advance, I can occasionally accommodate last-minute or same-day bookings depending on the schedule.

What are your deposit and payment terms?

Bookings may be subject to a retainer fee depending on the schedule and timing. Same-day or rush bookings where a retainer cannot be processed beforehand follow alternative invoicing terms discussed at the time of booking.

Do you have a minimum booking length or service charge?

There is no minimum hourly requirement for a booking, but all assignments carry a minimum service charge. This baseline covers professional production, post-production, licensing, and file delivery.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before call time. Retainer fees are non-refundable but can be credited directly toward a rescheduled booking date.

Do you shoot weddings?

No, I don't shoot weddings and I appreciate the consideration. However, I choose to focus entirely on commercial, industrial, and editorial assignments. If you're looking for a great wedding photographer, I am happy to provide recommendations.

Travel & Logistics

Do you travel outside of Toronto and the GTA?

Yes. While based in Toronto, I regularly travel across Canada and internationally for commercial, industrial, and editorial assignments. Travel expenses and logistics are factored directly into your upfront project estimate with no hidden surprises.

Do you work solo or bring a second shooter for large events?

With 18 years of professional experience, I typically shoot large-scale events, conventions, and conferences entirely on my own with high efficiency. However, complex multi-stage productions or massive activations sometimes require a broader crew. I maintain a trusted network of seasoned local photographers and videographers to scale up whenever an assignment demands it.

What happens to outdoor shoots if the weather turns bad?

If weather conditions force a change, bookings can be rescheduled without penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours before call time. For changes occurring on-site or day-of, clients may be billed a pro-rated amount for time and travel incurred.

Deliverables & Rights

How many images do I receive, and what is your turnaround time?

The number of deliverable images depends entirely on the project scope and type. Commercial shoots feature a set curated count, while event galleries scale with the duration of coverage. Turnaround times are equally flexible: same-day or on-site delivery can be arranged for fast-turn PR needs, while standard corporate galleries are delivered promptly following rigorous post-production.

How are final files delivered?

All final images and high-resolution galleries are delivered through a secure, private, password-protected online client portal via gallery.wons.ca. For specific enterprise requirements, alternative delivery methods such as secure FTP uploads or physical media can be arranged.

Who owns the copyright, and what are the usage rights?

Copyright remains with the photographer under Canadian law. Usage rights are tailored to your project scope through flexible licensing terms, ranging from specific commercial and advertising use to full buyouts. Inquire with your project details to determine the best fit.

Trust, Safety & Technical Capabilities

Are you fully insured?

Yes. I carry a comprehensive 2 million dollar commercial general liability insurance policy, along with a separate 2 million dollar policy specifically for aerial drone operations. Certificates of insurance can be provided to property managers or site safety officers upon request.

Are you licensed for drone and aerial photography?

Yes. I am fully licensed and registered with Transport Canada as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operator, ensuring safe, legal, and compliant aerial capture for industrial and architectural sites.

Can you accommodate strict security protocols for executives or VIPs?

Yes. My background includes working in sensitive environments, closed-door discussions, and high-security rooms around corporate executives, dignitaries, and public figures under strict confidentiality and protocol rules.

Headshots, Events & Industrial Specs

How long does a corporate headshot session take, and can you photograph a whole office in one day?

Individual headshot duration varies based on working with each subject to ensure a great result, typically ranging from 2 to 10 minutes per person. For office teams, I have successfully photographed up to 80 people in a single day. Setting up my mobile headshot studio on-site takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes before shooting begins.

Do you cover TIFF red-carpet or press-line events?

No. The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is an annual scheduling blackout. My entire schedule during the festival is dedicated exclusively to ongoing marketing work for TIFF itself, though I am happy to refer trusted local colleagues for external red-carpet coverage.

Do you have safety certifications and gear for active construction sites and factories?

Yes. I hold an active Working at Heights certification and am well-versed in industrial safety inductions. I arrive fully equipped with my own personal protective equipment, including high-visibility gear, non-magnetic safety boots, eye and ear protection, and hand protection.
