Foreign Beggars @ Le Belmont (Montreal, QC)

So there was this time in the summer of 2014 that I was up in Montreal with Nick ( Ennkay Digital ), we met some other out-of-town/country bboys visiting Montreal to judge a bboy comp. We adventured through the 514, and all ended up at the Foreign Beggars show that night…what a time.
Anybody who knows me knows I’m a pretty personable guy, and so is Ennkay, so it’s only natural that on the adventure that Nick and I went on checking out the murals and back alley graffiti  when we randomly ended up meeting Ivan (Brooklyn, New York), Niks (Vancouver by Moscow), and InTact (Kiev,Ukraine,) who were all in town to judge a bboy competition. So after our adventure and some drinks at Foufounes Electriques (if you visit Montreal it’s a MUST) we split ways and planned to meet up later in the night for the show which happened to be the first time our new friends had even heard of Foreign Beggars. Well, there’s a first time for everything, especially good UK Hip Hop. After the show we hung out and chatted with people when all of a sudden the occupants of two cars driving up the street out front of the club got into an altercation, exited their vehicles, and got in each other’s faces.

Naturally, it was the best time for a photo op.

After all was said and done we retreated to the safety of Fameux for some poutine.

It was an awesome day and night to say the least, glad we met that crew,that is how you successfully do a random day and night in Montreal.
