City of Toronto NYE 2017 photography captures massive municipal celebrations and vibrant public gatherings at Nathan Phillips Square. Specifically, I was commissioned by the City of Toronto Culture Department to document the official New Year’s Eve festivities.

This landmark public event brought thousands of residents together in the heart of downtown to celebrate the turning of the year. Furthermore, my scope included documenting general crowd atmosphere, families and guests enjoying winter festivities, and energetic live performances by musicians and stage acts. Moreover, the night culminated with capturing spectacular midnight fireworks lighting up City Hall.
