Syrous: The Return
After nearly 15 years away, one of Toronto’s most iconic 90s rave production companies made an epic return, bringing Syrous back to life at the Sound Academy. Pulling out all the stops for a historic comeback, the event united legendary UK heavyweights—including Nicky Blackmarket, Bryan Gee, and Bailey—alongside foundational local drum and bass veterans like Sniper and Mystical Influence.
The core objective was capturing the raw energy, massive crowd scale, and nostalgic underground atmosphere of this landmark reunion. From high-energy DJ sets under heavy club lighting to candid moments among pioneer ravers, these visual assets were deployed directly by organizers to celebrate a legendary chapter of Toronto’s electronic music history.
