AGI Agricultural Silos | Drone Industrial Photography

Industrial drone photography assignments often demand extreme adaptability, rigorous cross-country travel, and precision media capture. Specifically, for this extensive agricultural campaign, I teamed up with a fellow photographer to execute a multi-province aerial and ground documentation project for AGI (Ag Growth International).

We started in Manitoba to photograph select agricultural sites. Furthermore, our route pushed westward into Saskatchewan, tracking a massive journey from the southern reaches of the province all the way up to northern agricultural hubs. Over an intense week of travel, we coordinated live with the corporate office in Toronto while navigating unpredictable rural weather, remote locations, and active farming operations. Utilizing advanced aerial drone workflows, our goal was to capture both high-resolution stills and dynamic video footage. Consequently, these assets showcased the sheer scale of modern agricultural infrastructure, from towering grain silos and storage systems to sprawling farm complexes. Prairie Agricultural Documentation Scope:

Executing large-scale industrial drone photography and video production across hundreds of kilometers of rural terrain requires a meticulous approach to field planning and rapid asset management. Therefore, my production scope for this agricultural campaign included:

• Long-Range Route Logistics: Planning and executing a multi-day, multi-province driving and flying itinerary across remote rural sectors of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
• Aerial Drone Cinematography & Stills: Piloting high-resolution drones to capture striking top-down and horizon perspectives of commercial grain elevators, video sequences, and silo systems.
• On-the-Fly Problem Solving: Adapting to changing weather conditions, shifting rural light, and dynamic schedules while maintaining constant communication with remote stakeholders back in Toronto.
• Agricultural Multi-Media Library: Delivering a robust visual collection of both photography and video assets engineered for corporate reporting, marketing collateral, and industrial branding.
