Project description

Architectural and real estate development photography for landmark multi-residential projects requires a deep understanding of urban design, heritage preservation, and luxury interior styling. Specifically, I was commissioned by Fitzrovia to document The Waverley, a premier rental community rising from the historic site of the Hotel Waverly and the legendary Silver Dollar Room at College and Spadina in Toronto.

Over an extensive 12-month commission, my work tracked the project’s evolution from active construction milestones down to fully styled, completed residential units and signature amenity spaces. Furthermore, these visual assets served as the backbone for marketing campaigns, investor communications, and public relations. Consequently, the comprehensive visual library played an instrumental role in helping The Waverley secure the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) award for Best Organic Social Media Campaign. You can view more examples in my industrial and architectural photography portfolio.

Luxury Residential & Architectural Photography Scope:

Documenting a major multi-residential development from construction through to luxury leasing demands rigorous planning, spatial precision, and versatile capture methods. Therefore, my production scope for The Waverley project included:

  • Construction Progress & Milestone Documentation: Capturing active site updates over a 12-month period for investor reporting, progress tracking, and digital marketing channels.
  • Completed Suite & Interior Styling: Producing high-end architectural stills of completed rental suites, emphasizing 9-foot ceilings, premium finishes, and modern layouts.
  • Amenity & Heritage Integration: Highlighting bespoke indoor and outdoor resident spaces alongside the meticulous preservation elements tied to the site’s rich cultural history.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing Assets: Delivering a polished media archive tailored for award submissions, digital campaigns, and social media storytelling.

High-end real estate developments require visual assets that capture both architectural precision and lifestyle appeal.
